Eight clubs from five
countries will feature in the draw for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals
to be held on Friday at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. FC Bayern
München and Malaga CF claimed the last two berths. The latter's defeat of FC
Porto means that for the second year running there will be a new face in the
last eight, and that Spain will have three sides in the draw. Bayern and Malaga
joined FC Barcelona and Galatasaray AŞ, who won through on Tuesday.
Real Madrid
CF's hopes of a record tenth European Cup remain alive after they defeated
Manchester United FC, while Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain
FC (18 years) all ended long waits to reach the last eight again with victories
in their round of 16 ties.
The draw will be open,
with the ties to be played on 2/3 and 9/10 April. UEFA Champions League -

The semi-final draw
will be held in Nyon on 12 April, and those games will take place on 23/24
April and 30 April/1 May.
The 2012/13 UEFA Champions League final will be held
on Saturday 25 May at Wembley Stadium, London.
